ISCP
1st August 2007 marked the deadline for the start of the implementation of the new Surgical Curriculum.
You can make sure you are prepared by logging onto the ISCP website, registering and becoming familiar with this 'one-stop shop' website with full details of the nine surgical curricula, standards, levels of competence and assessments. Downloadable template forms will ensure you are ready for preparing Learning Agreements and assessment tools.
Users should note that the interactive elements of the website only become fully functional when Trainees have been assigned to Educational Supervisors by Programme Directors and passwords have been issued.

As from August 2007, it is mandatory for all new surgical trainees and their trainers to use the new surgical curricula. When trainees and assigned educational supervisors register with the ISCP, they will be able to utilise the interactive website to upload learning agreements, record assessments and progression, update logbooks and build e-portfolios.
