British Cervical Spine Society (BCSS)

The British Cervical Spine Society (BCSS) provides a forum for the study, natural history and treatment of cervical spine disorders. Its principal areas of activity include the following -

  • ensuring the highest possible standards of management for individuals with cervical spine disorders


  • promoting, financing, and sometimes organising, research and development in the field of cervical spine disorders


  • educating the public and medical and professional practitioners in the most effective methods of recognition, prevention, treatment, and long-term management of cervical spine disorders.


  • fundraising in support of the Society's key objectives
