Hip Symposium Episode 1: Paediatric hip disorders: From infancy to adolescence

Gain an understanding of developmental abnormalities of the hip joint, including the importance of clinical examination and imaging in the diagnosis of DDH. Differentiate between inflammatory and infective disorders of the young hip joint. Appreciate common hip joint abnormalities in older children including neurological and structural abnormalities.

This first episode of the Hip Symposium will present an overview of common paediatric hip disorders, including diagnosis and management. The evidence-based paediatric webinar will provide a broad overview of the major hip joint abnormalities encountered in infancy and childhood, including screening, diagnostic and treatment aspects. The event will be chaired by Michael Pearse, incoming President of the Orthopaedic Section of RSM. Topics will be delivered by single expert speakers with illustrative and interactive case presentations with ample time for audience Q&A.
