ATOCP Global Health Advocate
I graduated from the University of East London with a first class degree in B.Sc. Physiotherapy in 2019 and I am passionate about providing community care globally. I completed 3 years of rotational positions with Central London Community Healthcare (CLCH), where I engaged with the Race Equality Network (REN) and facilitated BME student experience groups.
While working within the Learning Disability (LD) service I completed a QI project to improve access to group exercise sessions for clients with mild to moderate LD. I have worked in Zambia, and Lusaka for 6 months supporting a quality improvement (QI) project under the improving global health fellowship with Health Education England (HEE) where I was supporting the development of the national blood transfusion service.
I became a tortoise mum to my pet Taco in 2020 and love to stay active through yoga and netball. I am committed to improving equality, diversity, and inclusivity and passionate about supporting the quality of service delivery within low-resource settings.

Dr Caroline Miller is a clinical academic specialist physiotherapist in trauma and musculoskeletal care at University Hospitals Birmingham (UHB). She has recently completed a Health Education England / National Institute of Health Research Clinical Doctoral Research Fellowship. During this time she worked with patients , therapists and surgeons to develop an international core outcome set for adults with brachial plexus injury. She has published widely in trauma and upper limb focusing on patient priorities and rehabilitation needs in this area.ATOCP Co-Chair
I have been a physiotherapist for over 20 years, and a clinical specialist in trauma and orthopaedics since 2008. I have completed my Orthopaedic diploma and an MSc in Musculoskeletal Science. I have worked alongside Mr Goldberg and published a systematic review on the use of mesenchymal stem cells, and more recently been part of the stakeholder group working on weight bearing terminology and the NAFF pathway.
I am currently the Clinical Services Manager for community therapies, a challenge I sought after completing a secondment as the AHP Faculty Lead in the HIOW ICB. In these roles I have a focus on workforce and service development and have used my networks and skills to enhance the experience our patients receive.
I am the current co- chair of the CSP South Central Regional Branch and the co-Chair and treasurer of the physio professional network, Association of Trauma and Orthopaedic Chartered Physiotherapists.
In my spare time I support my 2 boys with their sports clubs, taking on the admin role within their cricket teams and run director of the local junior park run, "if you can't beat them join them".
