Losing all vision at an early age did not deter David Clarke from living an extraordinary life or 
developing a trail blazing career in sport, banking and charity sectors. A Paralympian in two 
sports (Goalball and Blind Football). England men’s football record scorer with 128 goals in 
144 appearances. David was inducted into the English Football Hall of Fame in 2013, having 
represented Great Britain and England in 8 European Championships, 5 World 
Championships and 3 Paralympics including London 2012 where he was also a stadium 
torch bearer. David is CEO of ParalympicsGB, former COO of the RNIB, an FA Council 
member, husband, father, and sports fanatic!
