BOOS / BASS combined session
Join us for a combined session looking at both primary bone tumours and metastatic disease in the spine. Whilst primary bone tumours within the spine are rare, they can often present as an emergency with progressive neurology and thus require prompt investigation and management. However, the overall prognosis of such patients can vary significantly, often as a result of their primary intervention. We will therefore discuss the diagnostic challenges and pathways for escalation to ensure best practice and best outcomes for these patients. We will also look at metastatic spine presentations and their management strategies.
