Farokh Wadia is a fellowship trained Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon working at Southampton Children's Hospital. He has completed Paediatric Orthopaedic fellowship from Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital. His special interests include paediatric and adolescent knee disorders, with a special interest in patellofemoral disorders. His research interests include MPFL reconstruction using Fibre-tape and PF instability in Downs syndrome. He has worked as a team doctor for the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier league cricket.
Guy has been a Consultant in Children’s Trauma & Orthopaedics at the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children since 2004. He maintains a wide –ranging practice in all aspects of children’s trauma and orthopaedics with a particular interest in neuromuscular conditions and paediatric foot & ankle (in particular clubfeet). He is an experienced Examiner (and Examiner Assessor) for the FRCS (T & O) examination in the UK and internationally. He has been an examiner for COSECSA (sub-Saharan Africa) since 2018 and is the External Examiner for the COSECSA FCS (Paed Orth) Exam. He is the current President of the British Society for Children’s Orthopaedic Surgery.
