Bilal Jamal is a trauma, foot, ankle and limb reconstruction surgeon who is based out of the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital (QEUH) in Glasgow where, alongside his plastic surgical colleagues, he leads the orthoplastic service for the west of Scotland.
Bilal qualified from the University of Aberdeen in 2006 following which he completed surgical training in Glasgow. Bilal was the recipient of the prestigious European Foot and Ankle Society travelling fellowship in 2015 which led him to visit centres in Heidelberg, Lyon and Verona. Further fellowship experience was gained in Sheffield and Edinburgh.
Bilal was appointed as a consultant in 2017 and was tasked with establishing a limb reconstruction service. He is a member of the executive committee of the British Limb Reconstruction Society as well as being a council member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. Since January 2022, Bilal has served on the trauma committee of the British Orthopaedic Association.
Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon
Amir Qureshi is a Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma surgeon at University Hospital Southampton where he leads the Limb Reconstruction unit as well as practicing all aspects of knee surgery. He specialises in complex trauma involving the knee. A cartilage clinic provides a regional service for biological regenerative surgery of the knee
He is currently the Education Secretary for the British Limb Reconstruction Society. An Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer for the University of Southampton, he has been awarded for his teaching. His lectures and teaches on national and international courses. Operating in austere environments is also an important aspect of his work.
Trauma consultant , Northern General Hospital, Sheffield
Beth is a trauma consultant at the Northern General Hospital in Sheffield. After graduating in 2010, she undertook her surgical and orthopaedic training in the Yorkshire and Humber deanery.
She has completed fellowships in both trauma & limb reconstruction, with particular focus on open fracture management and the Ilizarov method. Her routine clinical practice involves managing complex fractures, non-union, osteomyelitis and deformity correction.
Simon Royston graduated from Manchester and completed Orthopaedic HST on the North Trent Rotation.
He was appointed consultant in 2000, with a special interest in Trauma and Limb Reconstruction. Since then he has focused on the management of complex fractures (especially open fractures), malunion, non-union, deformity correction, and osteomyelitis.
Simon has presented widely at many national and international meetings. Until recently he was a committee member British Limb Reconstruction Society.

Mr Vris is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon at the Royal London Hospital. He specialises in complex trauma, orthoplastics and limb reconstruction.
He enjoys training and teaching during his clinical practice, as an honorary senior lecturer at the Queen Mary University of London, and in national and international orthopaedic courses.
In his own time, he does humanitarian work as a surgeon in austere environments around the world.

Professor Benjamin Ollivere, Professor of Orthopaedic Trauma Surgery at the University of Nottingham and Honorary Consultant Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeon and Major Trauma Surgeon, Nottingham University Hospital
He is head of division for Rheumatology, Orthopaedics and Dermatology.
He has a keen interest in training and education and is currently the Training Programme Director for Health Education East Midlands in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery. His clinical expertise lies in complex trauma and reconstruction, particularly in non-union, infection and limb reconstruction. His academic interests compliment his clinical interests.
