Session Title: The National Hip Fracture Database Congress Session
Session Description: Antony and Will as Clinical Leads for the National Hip Fracture Database (NHFD), will in this session launch the 2025 NHFD Annual Report and update on several areas key to hip fracture care. In addition the team will reflect and inform on key areas common to hospitals in difficulty when looking after older patients with hip fracture as well as proven simple and easy wins to initiate to improve care and performance.
The team are joined by Judith Agwada-Akeru who will explore the enhancement of patient care and experience and Bob Handley who will provide insight from the GIRFT platform.
This session is of interest to all orthopaedic surgeons and especially those operating on patients and / or leading hip fracture care in UK hospitals.
