Join us for our dedicated Revalidation Session at BOA Congress, designed to support orthopaedic surgeons in maintaining and demonstrating their professional competence. This session will provide practical guidance, updates and opportunities to engage with peers.
Steve Borland is a Consultant at the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle upon Tyne. He specialises predominantly in orthopaedic trauma, pelvic and acetabular fractures and limb reconstruction. He also maintains an interest in lower limb arthroplasty and osteotomy around the knee. He undertook fellowships at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and St Michael’s Hospital, Toronto, and at the Russian Ilizarov Scientific Centre, Kurgan, Russia. He has a strong interest in teaching and training. He sits on the regional STC, is faculty on AO and ATLS and holds a masters in medical education from Newcastle University.
