We are an orthogenomic biotech company focused on improving the performance of orthopaedic implants. Orthotype is a unique pre-operative test that predicts a patient’s risk of chronic pain and implant failure associated with metal hypersensitivity to help optimise post-surgical outcomes and reduce the risk of needing revision surgery. We also offer a peer-reviewed and validated explant service to analyse the reasons for implant failure post-revision, to inform and improve future patient care. Established in 2011, we are the largest independent retrieval unit in Europe.
