If you have trouble receiving emails from the BOA, please add the following two email addressses to your safe senders list to help our emails get through to you!

[email protected] - for emails about Congress and accessing the BOA App

Below are instructions for the most common email domains.  If your email domain isn’t listed or you are having problems with the instructions, please email us at [email protected] with the subject line ‘BOA Emails’ and we will do our best to help.

 

BT Internet

Instructions on the BT website

  1. From the Settings tab, select the ‘Safe senders’ folder and click on the Add button
  2. Add the email address [email protected] and click Save

  3. After a confirmation message the email address will be added to your list of safe senders

Gmail

  1. Go to your Spam folder and find an email from [email protected]

  2. Open the email
  3. Click the Not Spam button in the bar above the email

OR

  1. Click the Gear Icon in the upper right hand corner
  2. Click the Settings button in the pop up menu
  3. On the Settings page, go to the Filters and blocked addresses tab
  4. Click the Create a new filter button
  5. Click into the From field and add [email protected]
  6. Click the Create filter button
  7. Select the action never send to Spam
  8. Click on the Create filter button

Hotmail

  1. Click on Options in the upper right corner of your Hotmail screen
  2. Then click the link for Safe and Blocked Senders in the body of the page under Junk e-mail
  3. Click the Safe Senders link and enter the email address [email protected]
  4. Click Add

MSN and Outlook

Instructrions on the Microscoft website

  1. On the Home tab, click Junk
  2. Click Junk E-mail Options
  3. On the Safe Senders tab, check the Automatically add people I e-mail to the Safe Senders
  4. Look for an email from [email protected] in your junk folder and reply to it

Outlook for iPhone or Android

  1. Sign into your Outlook.com account from a computer
  2. Select the Settings icon (gear icon) at the top-right corner
  3. Select View all Outlook settings
  4. Select Mail
  5. Select Junk email
  6. Under the Safe senders and domains header, select Add
  7. Enter the email address [email protected] then press the [Enter] key on your keyboard
  8. Select Save that appears in the bottom-right corner

Check blocked senders and safe senders list

If messages keep ending up in your junk folder from a safe sender, you may have accidently added that sender to your blocked senders. You can check that list to make sure it is correct.

  1. Sign into your Outlook.com email account
  2. Select the Settings icon (gear icon) at the top-right corner
  3. Select View all Outlook settings at the bottom
  4. Select Mail, and then select Junk email
  5. If you see the sender’s email address listed under the Blocked senders and domains header, select Remove button (trash can) next to it to remove it from the list

Mark a message as ‘not junk’

If a desired message is already in your junk folder, you can mark it as not spam.

  1. Sign in to your Outlook.com (Live) account
  2. Select the Junk Email folder and look for the missing email
  3. Right-click an email from [email protected] and then select Mark as not junk. The message will automatically be moved to your inbox.
