NHS Blood and Transplant holds the largest retrieval and storage facility for human tissue in the UK, located at the Tissue and Eye Services tissue bank in Liverpool. As part of the NHS, we operate as a not-for-profit organisation with patient safety at our core. This unique service is responsible for our entire supply chain, we co-ordinate, recover, process, and bank tissue. A wide range of human tissue is available for grafting or transplantation in orthopaedics, we also offer a bespoke service.
