The British Orthopaedic Trainees Association was set up in 1987 to promote and improve the standards of orthopaedic training in the United Kingdom and to represent the interests of Trainees in Orthopaedic Surgery in the UK.
With over 1,500 trainees in the UK we are the largest sub speciality society and work closely with the BOA, Royal Colleges, the SAC and other bodies involved in training.
We run educational events, support our sister society BOMFA, sit on a variety of committees and are involved in curriculum and policy changes.
