The Private Healthcare Information Network (PHIN) helps people make confident choices about private healthcare. Appointed by the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), we collect and publish independent information on the quality, safety and costs of private healthcare services across the UK. Our role is to help patients compare hospitals and consultants using clear, trustworthy information. We work closely with healthcare providers and clinicians to ensure the information we publish is fair, robust and meaningful for patients, while supporting greater transparency across the private healthcare sector.
