Arthritis: tackling the UK’s burden of pain - New Statesman report
To help mark World Arthritis Day last week, and following on from the Opening Plenary at Congress this year which included a presentation by Arthritis UK’s Chief Executive, Deborah Alsina, Arthritis UK worked with the New Statesman to produce an 8-page insight report about tackling one of the UK’s biggest public health crises – arthritis and musculoskeletal conditions: Arthritis: tackling the UK’s burden of pain - New Statesman.
The report features important contributions from a range of perspectives including Professor Sir Michael Marmot on social determinants of health, National Clinical Director for Musculoskeletal conditions Lesley Kay and Rob Martinez a patient living with arthritis.
