This course teaches fundamental principles and current concepts in the treatment of patients with a need for primary arthroplasty in the hip and knee. This course is the initial step along the path of lifelong learning in the area of joint arthroplasty. Based on a patient-centered approach this course focuses on the key principles of primary arthroplasty, and is targeted at newly certified orthopedic surgeons and advanced orthopedic surgical trainees.

Learn the sure and proper way of K-wiring and you will not need to do an ORIF ever again, saving you operating time and money. Also understand fluoroscopy and how to use it safely. What: This is a 2-day accredited hand fixation workshop in combination with Medartis aimed at plastic and orthopaedic consultants and trainees who deal with hand fractures. (Please note that the course is followed by a 1-day wrist fixation workshop on 20 March). The faculty consist of national and international hand surgeons, with a high faculty to delegate ratio. The course will consist of a balanced mix of lectures, practical sessions (using saw bones) and discussion groups.
