The Bone and Joint Infection Registry (BAJIR) is a national project aiming to improve understanding of infections in native bones and joints as well as those infections that happen after operations e.g. arthroplasty or fracture fixations.
These infections can be difficult to treat, often requiring timely, efficient treatment by a specialist MDT in order to get the best possible outcome for each patient.
The BAJIR registry aims to collect nationwide data to improve practice, as well as to provide the right tools to BAJIS (The Bone and Joint Infection Society) to inform education and guidance for the profession.
