OPENCAST is an innovative, waterproof orthopaedic cast for the treatment of fractures and immobilisation of limbs. OPENCAST is used instead of typical casts or splints.
OPENCAST is made from a composite material, incorporating polycaprolactone (PCL) and carbon fibre, offering substantial strength yet highly malleable when heated during application.
OPENCAST has a non allergenic and heatproof layer and has models available for upper and lower limbs.
