ARMA announces appointment of new CEO

The BOA welcomes the appointment of Adrian Bradley as the new Chief Executive of ARMA — the Arthritis and Musculoskeletal Alliance — an alliance of 40 member organisations, representing the breadth of MSK ranging from specialised support groups for rare diseases to major research charities and national professional bodies.

Mark Bowditch, BOA President said,

"Adrian joins ARMA at a critical time when musculoskeletal conditions — now the leading cause of economic inactivity among people over 45 — remain under prioritised by HS commissioners and providers, despite being a major contributor to the UK's persistently high waiting lists. The BOA is committed to working closely with Adrian and ARMA to advocate for improved MSK services and ensure these conditions receive the attention they deserve within the healthcare system."
