National Hip Fracture Database Annual Report
Hip fracture surgery is central to the care of older patients. The National Hip Fracture Database (NHFD) has today (12th September) published the 2024 annual report that gives perspective both on how well older injured patients are cared for but also how that care can be improved in the future. From initiatives to reduce waiting time for ward admission, to discussions around weightbearing after surgery, the report explores all elements of contemporary care of this growing patient group.
The report can be viewed here.
