Nominations now open for Trustee and Honorary Treasurer

We are seeking dynamic, forward-thinking leaders who can inspire others and continue to shape the BOA in an inclusive and innovative way.
You have the opportunity to bring your skills and expertise to help us grow and develop the BOA and Trauma and Orthopaedics as a whole. A more diverse BOA, and a broader range of voices, better serves our patients and best supports our colleagues and we welcome all applications.
Trustee positions (2026 – 2028)
There are four Trustee positions. Duties include active participation in Council activities, including attending five Council meetings per annum and other ad hoc meetings and working groups as required. All BOA Voting Members are eligible to stand.
Honorary Treasurer position
The Honorary Treasurer is a crucial figure in the financial governance of the BOA, playing a vital role in ensuring the organisation's financial health and long-term sustainability. The Honorary Treasurer should have experience in the management of financial affairs and must have previously been an elected Trustee who has completed one full term.
