Course Format – The New Consultants Course will take place from Friday 21 November and is designed to support doctors as they transition into their consultant roles. The course fee includes access to all sessions, overnight accommodation, and the course dinner, providing both an educational and networking opportunity in a relaxed setting.

The first day focuses on innovation, with sessions that encourage new ways of thinking and approaches to practice, followed by a course dinner to foster connections with peers and faculty.

On the second day, participants will benefit from a series of brief but focused talks covering the many aspects of a new consultant’s role. Emphasis will be placed on discussion, with experienced consultant faculty leading conversations and creating ample opportunity for participants to raise queries, share experiences, and explore the practical realities of their new responsibilities.

The course is designed not only to provide practical insights and guidance but also to create a supportive environment that encourages open dialogue and lasting professional connections.
