Update regarding Stryker cyber attack – 27th March

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to report that senior managers at Stryker have today advised NHS Supply Chain and NHS England that production has resumed and stock levels remain viable, allowing trauma and elective orthopaedic procedures to continue as planned.

NHS Trusts should continue engage with their regional customer services team at NHS Supply Chain for help and advice on ordering through NHS Supply Chain systems. It would be preferable for this to come as a coordinated request from the relevant NHS Procurement teams, so that customer service teams can manage the response.

The NHS Supply Chain ICN page for this incident is a resource which is accessible to anyone. This page has formal comms which are agreed by all parties, contains useful links, and is updated on a regular basis.

Whilst the principles of this advice are identical for the devolved nations, the operational details will differ and be led by local arrangements.

Yours faithfully

Yours faithfully
