JCST recruiting new SAC members for T&O

The Joint Committee on Surgical Training (JCST) is inviting nominations for new members to join its Specialty Advisory Committee (SAC) for T&O. The SAC oversees surgical training across the UK and Ireland, helping to set curricula, maintain quality standards, support national selection, and make recommendations for the specialist register.

This is a rewarding opportunity for consultant surgeons to contribute to the future of T&O. SAC members benefit from working with experienced colleagues from across the UK and Ireland, sharing best practice, and developing their own educational and leadership skills. If you are a surgical trainer with a strong personal commitment to the health service and experience of training administration or management at a regional level, the SAC could be the next step in your development as a leader in surgical education and training.
